The short version: we only collect what we need to quote, schedule and complete your cleaning, or to review your application. We never sell your information, and we never share your phone number with anyone for their marketing.

Who we are

Shinymaids is a house cleaning service in Northern Colorado and the Denver Metro area, operated by GoodWork Company LLC, a Colorado company ("Shinymaids," "we," "us"). This policy covers shinymaidsco.com and the ways we talk with you by phone, text and email.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or book a clean

• Contact details: your name, email, phone number and how you prefer to be reached.
• Home or business details: address, size, number of rooms, condition, pets, supply preference, budget and any notes you share.
• Photos you upload of your home or space, so we can price your clean accurately.
• Scheduling details: dates and times that work for you, and entry or access instructions once you book.
• Payment details: payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you apply to partner with us

• Your name, business name, phone, email and the social media or website links you choose to share.
• Your experience, specialties, availability, service areas, pricing and insurance status.
• Your answers to our cleaning assessment and the photos you upload of your work and supplies.

During a clean

• Check-in and check-out times, completed checklists and after photos recorded in our scheduling app. Our cleaning partners' location may be recorded when they check in and out, so we can confirm arrival.

Automatically, when you visit our website

• Our website host keeps basic technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
• Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address.
• We save one small setting in your browser to remember whether you prefer the mobile or desktop view.
• We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent your browsing data.

How we use your information

• To prepare your quote, schedule your clean and send the right cleaner with the right instructions.
• To contact you by call, text or email about your quote, booking, cleaner arrival updates, payments and service questions.
• To process payments and keep records we are required to keep, such as tax records.
• To check quality, handle complaints and keep clients and cleaners safe.
• To review cleaner applications and work with our cleaning partners.
• To improve our services and our website.

Text messages

When you give us your phone number on our website, you agree that Shinymaids may call or text you about your quote, booking and service, including scheduling, reminders, arrival updates and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You do not have to agree to texts to buy our services. Just let us know you prefer calls or email.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. This does not include the service providers that help us send messages on our behalf.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when needed to run our business:

• Our cleaning partners. The independent cleaner assigned to your home receives your name, address, access instructions and home details needed to do the job.
• Service providers that work for us, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify), email and calendar (Google Workspace), automated email tools (Zapier), scheduling and booking software (BookingKoala), payment processing (Stripe), and our phone and texting provider. They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
• Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our clients, cleaners or business.
• Business changes. If our business is sold or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must protect it the same way.

Photos

Photos of your home are used only to quote and prepare for your clean, and to confirm the work was done. Photos from cleaner applications are used only to review the application. We never post photos of your home or work publicly without your permission.

How we protect your information

Our website uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). We use reputable providers, limit access to the people who need it, and share access codes only with the cleaner assigned to your home. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, such as serving you as a client or keeping required tax and payment records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Your choices

• See, correct or delete the personal information we have about you.
• Stop texts by replying STOP, or ask us to only contact you a certain way.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing emails using the link in the email.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. Colorado residents may have additional rights under Colorado privacy law, and we will honor requests as the law requires.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
